The Swords Round Tower is the last remaining relic of the medieval church it was formerly attached to. Travelers who are interested in scaling the tower will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the surrounding counties. Although the first church established here is believed to have been destroyed in the 17th century, the structure was rebuilt in 1811.
