Baldoyle Bay extends from Howth’s West Pier to Portmarnock village and is a fiercely protected conservation area due to the  Brent Geese that live here. The site is currently a candidate for Special Area of Conservation status  under the E.U. Habitats Directive.

The conservation efforts taking place here may limit the level of freedom that travelers have in these protected areas. That being said, visitors interested in traveling to these areas are guaranteed an unforgettable experience!
