Ireland’s Eye is located to the north of Howth Harbour and can be reached by boat from the East Pier. 28 hectares in size, the island is uninhabited, featuring only a Martello Tower and the ruins of a sixth century church  The island is vigorously protected under the Howth SAAO.

 

The conservation efforts taking place here may limit the level of freedom that travelers have in these protected areas. That being said, visitors interested in traveling to these areas are guaranteed an unforgettable experience!
